You don’t need to travel this spring to give your wardrobe an eastern vibe. Kimono-style dresses are trending big time right now, giving us old Japan mixed with modernity. Equal parts timeless and of-the-moment, the tie-together frock looks best when covered in florals, whimsical designs and elegant embroidery.

I adore this pastel pink version from SHEIN because it's effortlessly romantic. It's lightweight with traditional sleeves and the front-slit makes it especially flirty. It's a super easy throw-on-and-go date night dress! I wore it for a mini staycation this past weekend up in Malibu but it would also be perfect for a more tropical getaway like Cabo, Hawaii or even Tahiti... (hey, a girl can dream, right?)

Happy Friday!

This week felt insanely long so I'm going to keep things short and sweet over here today.

In anticipation of warmer weather to come, I'm beginning to replace heavy winter-wear with a refreshing batch of bright prints and lighter hues. My must-have piece of the moment? A white blazer. Yup, it's time to shelve that go-to black version because sunny days are ahead.

Undeniably versatile, the white blazer can easily take you from a work event (with a high-waisted pencil skirt and pumps) to a GNO (with a silky tank and ripped skinnies) to the weekend (with a casual tank and trousers) and that's just the beginning.
