Okay, I know it’s a little late to talk holiday party dresses but this season seemed quicker than ever. Who's with me? That being said, there seems to be a reason to get dressed up every night from now until January so you're going to need options.

This mint mini dress from Chicwish is an easy favorite. Not overtly festive like my emerald dress from last week, this one was incredibly easy to style with simple bracelets and gold earrings. The puff sleeves are so adorable and classic. Oh and the best part? It works well as a New Years dress, too! Win, win.

If there's on statement piece you can't forget to invest in this season it's a great jacket. From teddy bear coats to classic trenches, it's time to secure this season's top outerwear. After all, a killer coat is the key to upgrading your fall outfit. With a casual tee or sweater (like I have here) and skinnies, your outwear definitely takes center stage (in a good way).
