MUST-HAVE STAPLES

Melrose Place

Every spring, as the ground begins to thaw out, I get very excited to switch up my wardrobe. As I get older, however, I've started buying less into the trends and more into staple styles. That being said, you can definitely still have a lot of fun putting together a classic look. So whether it's a fresh new pair of skinnies, a comfy button down, or an all-season leather jacket, today I'm sharing some of my favorites to wear this year—and beyond!

THE COZY HOLIDAY

Hollywood Christmas Tree Farm

Ideal for: THE FAMILY PARTY

Magical, cozy and oh so merry, there are so many reasons to love this season! And there are even more ways to celebrate. Whether your style is classic, unconventional, or you love a little glamour, there's no dress code when it comes to holiday fashion. From oversized sweaters and cute booties, to velvet dresses and sparkly skirts, there's an occasion for all of it. And I am teaming up with the amazing makeup/hair stylist Aaron Barry to put together three different looks for the endless season of events!

This first look is classic, ultra-comfortable and all things easy. It works for both a family party and night out at the bar with friends. When the temps drop, it's easy to opt for the warmest thing you can find, but with so many sweaters that offer anything but basic details these days, you almost HAVE to choose one! I love this one from Madewell because it has flared, tie sleeves and a cute cowl neck. It's also a great layering piece! I went with a ripped, high-waist skinny jean and a pair of pom pom statement earrings from Sugarfix by Baublebar.
