DAILYLOOK STYLING

Culver City, CA

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to try DAILYLOOK’s personal styling services. It’s ideal to try if you are looking to get outside of your everyday wardrobe box, try a new trend, or just don’t love picking out your own pieces and want some expert advice.

Here’s how it works: to help the stylist understand your personal taste, you’ll fill out a quick style survey and share your sizes. You are able to leave more specific details about what pieces you typically like and others that you try to avoid as well. If you guys watched my stories when I first opened my DAILYLOOK box, you may recognize some of these pieces (pictured) and what I loved about the experience was that I was also able to check out styles that I normally wouldn’t think of buying. For example, how cute is this mini skirt for winter? It has actually become a new chilly weather staple. Paired with a sweater, tights and a cute jacket, it’s such an easy throw-on outfit.

And they also sent this gorgeous red maxi dress! It such a pretty Valentine’s Day outfit option and the sleeve details are stunning.

If you want to try out DAILYLOOK, take $20 off your first box with the promo code: KELLY20. Another thing I love about the service is that you can pick and choose if you want to receive a box every month, once a quarter or whenever works well for you! If you decide to try it out, let me know what you think.

FINALLY FRIDAY

Santa Monica, CA

IMG_6023.jpg

Happy Friday!

This week felt insanely long so I'm going to keep things short and sweet over here today.

For this laidback look, I paired a strappy tank (under $15)  with some classic striped shorts from last season and loafers from Vionic. To tie the look together, I wrapped in a striped hair scarf. The result? A classic look that works well for both day and night.  A casual day at the office, happy hour, a beach day with friends—it works for all three!

Have a great weekend everyone!

The Wrap Dress

Downtown Los Angeles, CA

IMG_5020.jpg

I am dress obsessed. Some of you have actually commented on how many and how often (every post lately) I've been wearing them but I just can't get enough. From flowy maxis to cocktail cuts, I really love them all. And today, I'm sharing why the wrap dress may be at the top of my list.

Not only are wrap dresses flattering on every woman, but they are also really versatile. The cinched waistline is ideal for creating a beautiful figure AND for expanding when you eat a bit too much pizza (like I did every day in Italy!) This printed beauty from Chicwish is great for museum hopping/office days/brunch with the girls or exploring a new city. For a night on the town, easily dress it up with slingback heels and a clutch. I love the feminine sleeves and pretty pink shades, too. Here I paired it with my new slip-on sneakers from Vionic (which are the comfiest shoes on the planet) and it made a day of walking around the city even more fun.
