Though it's chillier outside, I like to continue getting fresh air and take walks around the city or along the coast, so cozy sweaters, boots, and jackets are a MUST. Also, I have been obsessed with this Amazon backpack because I can fit all of my essentials and my DSLR camera inside, making exploring a lot easier. Snow Day Style

Life has been, well, COLD lately. As we get used to winter weather and freezing walks, we have also been doing our best to enjoy the change of scenery it brings. Snow-lined streets and white (snowy) beaches are our new normal lately—and it’s been pretty fun! We have also had to update our wardrobes accordingly. I snagged this cozy jacket at Nordstrom last year and it’s still one of my most-worn pieces today.

I'm a sucker for jackets...and handbags and swimsuits and shoes and...(the list goes on for days here.)  But really, like a great pair of jeans, it's important to love your invest in great outerwear this time of year.  And while it's always fun to try on some of the newest trends, it's important to have the essentials: a good trench like this one, a good fluffy number, something to brave the elements and also a shorter, chic biker jacket like the one I am wearing here from Goodnight Macaroon. It's insanely soft and the details are impeccable- what could be better?
