Los Angeles, CA
This week has been a long one.
It’s been so busy, in fact, that forgetting a meal here and there (or qualifying skittles as lunch), staying up to do work later than the Jay Leno Show, and accepting six hours of sleep as the status quo have become quite the norm. YIKES!
Which is why I’m thrilled that it’s Friday.
I hope your weekend is filled with Halloween festivities, lots of good food, and great relaxing slumbers (that’s my plan anyways).
Today, I’ve decided to finally wear, what I think, is one of the most beautiful fall dresses I’ve come across this season from Ruche. It will undoubtedly make you feel gorgeous, even after an exhausting week and give you that perk you so truly deserve when headed into your Friday afternoon/evening festivities. Since it’s still quite warm here in Southern California, I simply wore the dress with my new classic beige pumps, also from Ruche and dressed the look down a bit during the day by pairing it with a simple jean jacket from Forever 21.
If it’s cooler where you are- you could pair this with a scarf and tights as well (these pumps look great with tights because of the cutouts!)
I plan to carry this look on over from my day into the evening for dinner with some friends. The whole look is vintage inspired and simply classic- a perfect way to end the week.
Oh and by the way… can you believe the foliage in my neighborhood? By the looks of these photos, you’d guess I was deep in the heart of New England. I guess, though certainly not as drastic, California may have seasons after all.
