DATE NIGHT STYLE (MINIMAL EFFORT REQUIRED)

Whether you're heading out with your latest match on Bumble or grabbing dinner with your longtime sweetheart, it's always fun to dress it up a bit on date night (especially this time of year). And if you're like me, you've probably spent one too many nights tearing through your wardrobe to find the perfect look. You know, that "I didn't try too hard but I'm here to impress" kind of ensemble? That's what we're all looking for—the little effort, big wow outfit.

So what are some of my easy date-night looks? Honestly, I look to Reformation for all my inspo lately. From jumpsuits to sweet little dresses and tops, they have styles that are classic yet undeniably sexy. This ruffly velvet top works really well with ripped jeans and if you're going on a day-to-night event, toss on a dress like this with a cropped denim jacket and booties. Need an office-to-drinks ensemble? This jumpsuit I wore in a previous post is just perfect.

While I can't guarantee that your date is going to be great, I can tell you that these looks will make you feel 100% every time. Amen for Reformation!

SHINY SHOES

It's that time of year again! Time to get onboard with the glitter trend. And while I am not usually all that drawn to glitzy pieces, I always make an exception from now until the mid-January. And because nothing elevates an outfit quite like a set of sparkly shoes, this pair from SAS Shoes was an easy 'yes' from me. Rose gold shimmer and a classic silhouette make them great to wear with skirts, dresses, or your go-to pair of skinnies. Here, I have paired them with a cozy quilted midi skirt and sweater from Chicwish for a look that's full-on femme.

Looking to upgrade your go-to pieces? Same here. With each new season, I feel the need to declutter my closet and also refresh my everyday essentials. I'm talking cozy cardigans for winter, perfect sandals for summer—the things that will always remain in style no matter what new trends are being talked about.

For the warmer spring days, I've been switching out my sweaters for cute short-sleeved tees like this one and the one I am wearing here. Both are stylish enough to wear with a blazer or skirt, yet casual enough to pair with shorts. As for my jeans, I am swapping out my dark denim for lighter shades. This cropped pair from AG puts a new spin on white skinnies. From the flattering high-waistline to the edgy ankle cut, I love everything about them.  (Be prepared to see more of them in the future!)

In addition to those, I've found the comfiest pair of platform sandals around. Designed to make style feel good, I would seriously have worn these to Coachella (where we walked 10+ miles a day) if they came in time! Made by SAS Shoes, they are solid, comfy shoes with molded soles that contain millions of tiny air bubbles to provide shock absorption and extra support—talk about orthopedic chic! Check out more of their styles here.
