Summer to Fall Staples from Revolve

Newburyport, MA

Never will I ever be in a rush to say goodbye to summer ( I enjoy light layers and evenings outdoors way too much), but since we’ve hit September, I suppose it’s time to face facts: the warmth will be leaving us very soon. However, with the new season comes new ways of wearing your favorites and lots of fresh outfits to try.

Luckily, Revolve has the perfect array of classic and trendy pieces that will serve you for the rest of your summer days—and all the months to come.

For me, the easiest way to ease into fall is to switch up the hues I wear. Rich shades like chocolate brown, black, olive, and neutrals are a great place to start. I’m a big fan of this leopard maxi dress (which is selling out fast!), this silky leopard skirt, and this asymmetrical black bodysuit. Perfect for date night or work, I love the versatility of all these pieces.

THINK PINK

Can anyone resist the feminine charms of pink? I definitely can't. From pale and powdery to splashy and bright, this versatile hue can go from girly to chic in a snap. And whether I want to accept it or not, it's officially time to start investing in some new outerwear. The good news? There's an abundance of cute options to choose from this year. From puffer jackets to dusters, there's something to match every personality and climate. Today, I am rocking the fashion-fave pink coat trend. I will never get sick of it and I love how it brings even the most basic looks to life.  Great for LA, this particular jacket from SHEIN is lightweight and incredibly affordable. I'm talking under $20...

FALL FLORALS

West Hollywood, CA

I've always wondered this: Why, during the summer, are maxi dresses everywhere, but come fall they seem to disappear? Minis and skirts get new life with the addition of tights and boots but somehow this longer style seems to get left behind. Afterall, it locks in heat, keeping us all sweaty during the summer months. So why are more people not wearing them when things start to chill down?

Thankfully this trend seems to be waning, and there are plenty of ankle-grazing frocks around at the moment. There are slip dresses and dark floral maxis that will look incredible with booties, mules or sneakers. And since it's in the 80's here today, I just wore it as is-- no jacket, no boots, no leggings.
