IN THE MIX

Hollywood, CA

Double or nothing. Sometimes I enjoy pairing my stripes with my florals and dots- and other things that don’t conventionally match. It doesn’t ALWAYS work but when it does, it’s fun. I love doing this for office days. I partner my striped cardigan with a floral skirt or leopard flats to give things a twist.

Today, I’m wearing a lightweight striped sweater with ripped skinnies and a leather jacket. It’s a classic look but I think the addition of the leopard clutch really takes things up a notch.

The Spring Mix

Mar Vista, CA

The days are lighter, brighter and longer which signifies the start of spring--and more importantly--the start of breezy dressing! I fall easily for flowery designs and so this maxi skirt was an easy YES. With a gorgeous silhouette, this number from SHEIN is the perfect way to transition from winter to spring. And I decided to take things up a notch by mixing in some classic striped patterns with my bag and top. I kept the rest of the ensemble muted and ladylike with a skinny belt and delicate jewelry.  It's flirty, fun and perfect for a warmer spring day.
Oh and the best part? This skirt is only $20!

50 Shades of Blue

Westwood, CA

Monochrome. The trend is nothing new, but trying out less traditional tones like blue, turquoise and green can make a big bold impact. And this summer, everyone is incorporating intricate prints, floral patterns and lighter warm-weather hues. Similar to mixing prints, you really have to play around with lots different shades before you pull off a winning look. Trust me, I reworked this outfit about four times before I called it quits.

I love this breezy fit-and-flare dress because it takes a lot of the guesswork out of styling! It blends a medley of blue hues with bold crisscrossing patterns and pretty flower designs. I paired it with a light-wash denim jacket, a bold belt and navy sneakers, for a look that's oh so blue!
