The metallic midi skirt. I loved it in the winter, I love it for spring and it's pretty safe to say I'll be wearing it with a tank all the way into summer. It's honestly one of the most versatile pieces I own. It is great dressed up or down, it's on every bloggers LOVE LIST and it's easy to see why. Offering a world of shimmer, this pleated midi creates just enough flash to dress up even your most basic tee (like this comfy one I have on here today) and it looks great with sneakers or sky-high stilettos. Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend. I am actually working today but I had a great couple of days. I ate Korean BBQ, danced with friends and even caught a few extra zzz's. Doesn't get much better than that, does it?

The Holiday Hustle

The past week has been filled with last minute deadlines, Christmas shopping and holiday party hopping. There’s always a ton of fun and excitement right before the entire city shuts down for the year. And it’s safe to say as of tomorrow, LA is pretty much closed.

It has been a wonderful blur but I’m very excited to head back to New Hampshire to relax and catch up with my family. And I have to admit, it never really feels much like Christmas until I get there. New Hampshire is freezing and it’s snowy (and I’ll definitely be wearing a lot more layers than I do here) but it’s home.

I’ll be packing this gorgeous red pleated skirt in my suitcase tonight! I found it at H&M and it’s perfect for the holiday season—and beyond! I love it with this cropped lace-up sweater but it also would be great with a chunky metallic sweater or glittery top.

Scarf Season

Fall will always be scarf season to me. But this year, a new skinny version is stealing the show. Breathable, silky and ultra-femme, this latest trend is a major game changer. I love it. And while I am not a pro at twisting it up into fancy knots, it’s still pretty easy to pull off. Wear it with a vintage tee or tucked into a button-down, either way the slim scarf adds the cool to whatever you’re wearing this fall.

Today, I paired it with a pleated mini skirt, ivory tank and crossbody. It’s a fun transitional outfit—perfect for those days when you’re dreaming of apple picking but the temps still scream summer.
